Bleedin’Art Guitars is based in Kedington near Haverhill in Suffolk, and is owned by me, Graeme Simkins.

Across the website you will see various pictures of my work, from custom made guitars to refurbished guitars and parts to fret polishes and set ups. Hopefully they are a good representation of the quality of workmanship you can expect.
Owning many guitars myself I understand how important each one is to it’s owner! Your instrument is fully insured while in my care with Lark Musical Instruments Dealer Insurance.
All work is priced on the website and if I find any issues that may incur more costs I will contact you before proceeding. If you are within 20 miles of Haverhill you don't need to visit the workshop, I am happy to collect and return your instrument for a fee of £1.00 per mile.
I provide a professional set-up, repair, restoration and modification service for all types of guitars. We all want our guitar to sound it’s best, to feel good when you play it, and I want to hand your guitar or bass back to you and put a smile on your face when you play it, so it feels like it was made just for you. If you’re a beginner, have your guitar set up correctly and give yourself the best chance of sticking with it. Your fingers will still hurt to begin with but nowhere near as much as a poorly set up guitar!
Custom Electric Guitars
I started building cigar box guitars many years ago, but rather than the rough and ready “made from bits and pieces from the shed” style CBG’s, I wanted a higher end product that still sounded awesome. I then moved on to building electric guitars. I like to make my own designs as well as the familiar ones (but upgraded!), to make beautiful electric guitars and basses that really stand out but more importantly; to sound amazing and feel great to play.
